This year there are 112 ways to celebrate National Aboriginal day through health and wellness events being held on June 21st. Here are a sample of some of the activities:

  • Numerous Run/Walk Events
  • Pit Cooking
  • Respecting Tobacco Workshop
  • Medicinal Plant Walks
  • Drum Making
  • Sharing Healthy Meals
  • Traditional Medicine Scavenger Hunt
  • Talent Shows
  • Teepee Building
  • Hand Games Tournament
We expect an estimated 16,848 – 20,960 citizens will take part in the festivities.
