The Environmental Health Foundation of Canada (EHFC) is offering a bursary designed to support Indigenous students pursuing education in Environmental Public Health through programs accredited by the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors (CIPHI). BCIT's Environmental Public Health program is one of the qualified programs and the only CIPHI-accredited Environmental Public Health program in BC.

The bursary is intended to cover tuition and partial living costs and will be renewable for each year of a student's program. Students are required to apply to schools offering CIPHI accredited programs independently and separate from the bursary application. To learn more about the bursary and how to apply here.

Applications for the upcoming academic year (Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 start) close on December 15, 2025.
