Health Benefits Launches Weekend Phone Service for Clients Evacuated Due to Wildfires

​As of July 10, the FNHA will provide emergency weekend phone support for clients in BC who have been evacuated due to wildfires and need support to access services, medical supplies or equipment covered by Health Benefits.

Weekend toll-free support line and hours until further notice:

  • Toll-free 1-888-305-1505
  • Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 4:00 p.m. 

All FNHA clients should continue to call Health Benefits toll-free at 1-855-550-5454 during regular service hours.

Health Benefits can support clients to access pharmacy items and prescription refills, patient travel, medical supplies and equipment, eyewear, dental services and mental health counselling.

Replacement of Medical Supplies and Equipment

Clients needing to replace an item covered by the Medical Supplies and Equipment benefit can visit a local pharmacy or medical supplies provider. Most providers in BC can bill Health Benefits directly for items.
