Canada extends funding for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Health Support Services

The Government of Canada has provided funding to continue mental health support offered by the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) Health Support Services in BC. Funding was initially set to expire at the end of June, 2020.

The program supports survivors, family members and individuals experiencing trauma and mental distress stemming from MMIWG. Clients can be status or non-status.
