FNHA Health Benefits (FNHB) is committed to ensuring clients maintain access to essential health benefits and support during community evacuations. In emergency situations, such as flooding, individuals may have very little time to leave and might be unable to bring medications or medical supplies. If you are evacuated and cannot take these items with you, FNHB can assist by providing:
- Prescription refills and pharmacy items
- Medical supplies and equipment
- Eyewear and dental items
Additionally mental health support and patient travel assistance are also available to clients through FNHB.
If you need help or have questions, you can reach FNHA Health Benefits by phone at 1-855-550-5454.
For Providers
To support clients impacted by flooding evacuations, FNHB will consider requests for replacement benefit items. Please fax pre-determinations for replacement items to Pacific Blue Cross and include a note indicating that the request is related to flood impacts.
For clients that have additional third party insurance, FNHB recommends the use of the Transitional Payment Request (TPR) form to ensure clients can receive the benefits they need immediately without any delays. The TPR form allows providers to process one-time manual claims at point of sale, so clients don't have to wait for coverage approval. Providers that use the TPR form will be reimbursed a $10 service fee in addition to the item cost, up to listed maximums.
This will be a temporary measure to ensure individuals that have been impacted by floods have access to the items they need.
FNHB assessors will be available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
