Beefy Chiefs 2.0 – Eligibility has been expanded to all BC First Nations!

The 2nd Annual First Nations Health Leadership Challenge – Beefy Chiefs 2.0 Step Up Challenge has been expanded to all BC First Nations citizens.  The First Nations Health Council challenges all BC First Nations to sign up to compete alongside our leadership for most steps, distance, and active minutes.  Registrants must be participating on behalf of a community to be eligible for quarterly and the grand prize, which will awarded at Gathering Wisdom for a Shared Journey VII. We also have many exciting monthly and random prizes for our respected partners and participants!

The 2nd Annual First Nations Health Leadership Challenge - Beefy Chiefs 2.0 - Step Up is a ten month, province-wide initiative sponsored by the First Nations Health Council (FNHC) and supported by the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), which will run from June 24, 2014 to April 30, 2015.  This wellness initiative is a steps-based challenge utilizing Fitbit technology (wireless fitness tracker). Participating leaders will compete in three categories for individual and community prizes:  most steps, farthest distance and most active minutes.  Grand prizes will be awarded at Gathering Wisdom VII in May 2015.
