Communities and families, biological or chosen, are at the heart of wellness. The 30x30 Active Wellness Challenge invites us to come together around the kitchen table, talk about what wellness looks like for our families, and set goals that feel meaningful and achievable.
Over the next four weeks, one family from Old Massett Village Council will share their 30x30 journey through a series of kitchen table conversations. In partnership with Jo, Toni, Candice, and Grace, the FNHA invites you to join them by committing 30 minutes of physical activity each day throughout June.
The family will share their favorite activities, motivation tips, and reflections on our social media channels, offering ideas to support your own journey.
Movement can take many forms: from walking on the land and dancing to stretching, playing with children or grandchildren, cleaning, harvesting, drumming, or participating in other traditional and cultural practices that foster connection and well-being. Whether it is a daily walk, time on the land or simply moving in ways that feel good, small steps can build strong and lasting habits.
By setting intentions together and supporting one another, movement can become a source of connection, joy, and wholistic wellness for everyone taking part.
