Every year, we invite you to join us for the 30x30 Active Wellness Challenge by committing to 30 minutes of physical activity on each of the 30 days of June. We are always inspired to see what other First Nations people across BC are doing to care for their wholistic wellness -- mind, body, and spirit.
Over the past 30 days, we've featured a series of “kitchen-table conversations" with a family from Old Massett Village Council including Jo, Toni, Candice, and Grace. The stories of their wellness journeys remind us that every bit of movement matters. Whether it's a daily workout or simply taking more steps than usual, every effort counts and it all adds up to meaningful, lasting change.
Beyond the minutes tracked, this challenge was about building healthy habits, supporting one another, and discovering what movement looks like for you. From early morning walks to lunchtime stretches, evening housekeeping to weekend adventures, movement is good medicine.
As we wrap up the 30x30 challenge, we hope it has given you the jumpstart to keep going. Keep setting small, achievable goals, try new activities, and make movement a regular part of your daily routine. Remember: even the longest journey begins with a single step!
